 The AQA Unit Award Scheme (UAS) is a remarkable educational program designed to recognise and celebrate individual achievements and learning journeys. The UAS is a regulated program with high-quality standards, ensuring it effectively meets educational needs. The scheme features a variety of units at different levels, covering different subjects and skills, from academic excellence to practical life skills, each crafted to be small and achievable.  

You have the freedom to personalise the units, tailoring them to meet the unique needs and interests of the learner. This approach empowers students to progress at their own pace and focus on what truly matters to them.  

Assessment is based on participation and achievement in these units, there are no formal exams as the scheme favours of recognising genuine progress. 

Upon completing a unit, learners receive a certificate that acknowledges their accomplishments, serving as a powerful testament to their dedication and hard work.  

In essence, the AQA Unit Award Scheme is a pathway to empowerment, providing an inclusive approach to learning that helps students build skills and gain meaningful recognition for their achievements in a supportive community. 

ETIA Academy is an approved centre that welcomes students to join and embark on the unit award scheme throughout the year. Students can start at any point during the year and they can work towards obtaining a unit ETIA Academy have released before they joined.

Once you register with ETIA Academy, you will receive a unique learner number, which is essential for submitting your work.  

You have the flexibility to select the units to work towards from the ETIA Academy website; the units clearly outline the learning outcomes that need to be achieved and the evidence required to meet these outcomes. 

 You have the freedom to deliver the content in the most appropriate way for the student; there are no set specifications, schemes of work, or resources.  Claims for certificates can be made year-round, and learners can be added to the scheme at any time. 

The student is able to progress at their own pace as there is no deadline for completion. furthermore, you can work towards as many AQA Awards as you wish! After you complete the units, simply submit your evidence along with a witness statement to ETIA Academy. 

We will take care of verifying your submissions to the AQA, and obtaining your certificate. This ensures a smooth and supportive process as you work towards achieving your qualifications!
