How it works

How this works in practice

Reception learning at ETIA Academy is designed to feel gentle, structured, and achievable—with clear steps, short activities, and plenty of flexibility.

1) Choose a theme

Pick a child-friendly theme (e.g., “My World”, “Animals”, “Seasons”, “People Who Help Us”) and build learning around it.

2) Learn through mini-projects

Short, hands-on tasks that naturally blend early reading, early maths, talk, movement, and creativity.

3) Keep it small and consistent

Aim for short sessions with lots of breaks. Progress comes from repetition, routine, and confidence—not pressure.

4) Parent-supported, child-led

You guide the environment and encouragement; your child explores, talks, builds, draws, and gradually records their learning.
